Awsome seafood & great prices. Love it every time we go & we travel an hour each way to eat here but definitely worth the trip. The gumbo is amazing & the michelada's are too. Been there many times & never had something I didn't like. Everything is fried. It would be nice if there was an option for broiled or grilled on a few things on the menu, but I still give it five stars because it's great for fried food. Definitely my go to for great seafood without a doubt.

Their gumbo is the best! And I like their shrimp and catfish, too. The atmosphere is like a loud, busy party and perfect for 1 person or a couple to go for food and drinks. This place is not family or kid friendly if you're looking for a place to dine-in. The restaurant is always packed with a long wait line for a place to sit. I go in to the restaurant and order my food to-go. And if I want extra gumbo to freeze for later they will give me their refrigerated gumbo so I don't have to wait for it to cool before freezing it to warm in the slow cooker later.

This place has been around since the ‘80’s and it is the gold standard for good old fashioned “Gulf” seafood! Everything is delicious on the menu! But the most popular items are Gumbo, Oysters on the half shell, and the Texas Mini. Don’t forget about the Michelada’s with either a shrimp or an Oyster at the bottom!

This is where I go when I need to treat myself TLC. Start with a Modelo Michalada extra spicy extra lime. A bowl of gumbo with lots of Louisiana Cajun sauce and crackers. 1/2 dozen raw oysters with lots of fresh horseradish, Tabasco, ketchup, lime, and W sauce. Main course the Texas Mini: 3 fried gulf shrimp, 2 catfish, and fries, extra tarter sauce.

The most delicious and fresh oysters for a very affordable price!! The stuffed crab and gumbo is delicious. You order at the bar so it’s best to get a seat there. Everything is reasonably priced. Great place for seafood!

This is my go-to spot for oysters, gumbo, and fish! If you’ve never been, just know there’s usually a line—though that’s mostly for bar seating. There are a few tables outside the bar area, but not many. Also, all the seats are stools, so it’s not the most kid-friendly setup. When they moved to a bigger space, I was excited! But honestly, they could have gone even bigger because it still fills up fast. Their prices for a dozen oysters are very reasonable, and the food is always on point. Some of my favorites are the Texas Mini (shrimp & fish) and the fried flounder—both are delicious! Plus, their micheladas are top-notch. Definitely worth a visit if you love fresh seafood and a laid-back atmosphere.
